Welcome to the front porch tea room
Happy May! With spring comes new life and beginnings and this year, The Front Porch Tea Room and Gathering Place, is no exception. As of April 14, 2025, The Front Porch is under new ownership.
New owners, Daneen and Steve Collier are no strangers to the tea room, having known the previous owners, Michelle and Harold Silbaugh, for the last 18 years. They love serving and hosting family and friends on many occasions, most recently with their former Airbnb. Daneen currently works for the City of York as a Senior Accountant and will continue that role, while doing her fun job of serving on the weekends. Steve is a retired forklift operator and handles most of the grocery and “gopher” jobs.
The best news with this change is The Front Porch Tea Room and Gathering Place will still be the wonderful, relaxed experience of stepping back in time to enjoy our delicious 5 course High Tea. Our absolutely amazing staff will still be the same as well, to give you the best experience ever. Allison will continue to be our manager and chef, preparing some of the tastiest courses to ever accompany a tea.
We can’t wait to see and welcome you to our tea room.

Our High Tea Reservation times are:
12 PM Wednesday to Friday
6 PM one Friday night a month (check calendar for availability)
11 AM on Saturday
